Agree to an extent. I don't think he's a starter but say a 80th minute sub when the game is stretched. With games now lasting an extra 10 minutes that will give him 20 minutes.

Bringing him on in the 95th minute is surely just a waste.

I don't disagree, but we know that for Roy, defensive abilities are really important.

I suspect if we were 1 nil down he may have got more mins, but at 0-0 and Fulham looking the more likely scorer, Roy respects the point

i really was hoping it would work tonight for rak saki but unfortunately after tonight's 45 min cameo against united it has been shown hes no where near the prem standard. far to weak and zero strength on the ball, i think my 11 year old boy has more meat on his bones. he seriously needs to bulk up

he would get eaten alive week in week out in the premier league. men against boys

another stint in league 1 or championship until he fills out a bit

He was never ready for the Prem and probably never will be. He will loaned out in Jan as long as we have players back.

Sad to say he was completely out of his depth. But then again so was the team in that first half.

I bet Roy has been pressured to play him. Well tonight is pretty final. He ain’t good enough and I don’t think he will be.

If he was good enough we wouldn’t have sent him out on loan. Over two years ago he made his debut

Feel sorry for him after tonight. Should have been out on loan this season having the chance to develop after last season. Clearly no where near ready for first team and wouldn't have been except we've not recruited enough over the summer.

Shouldn’t even be on the bench. Shows how lacking we are in quality bench players that he is on the bench. Only when we have Ayew, Hughes and Schlupp on the bench will we have a team strong enough to keep us mid table. Rak Sakyi is no where near enough to be considered a prem player and from what I’ve seen won’t ever be sadly :-(

The coaching staff have been working on his defensive game it would seem . Can't have any compliants with that side of his game and thought he did all that would have been expected in that department . In fact it was on the other side of the pitch where Ayew was a bit off the pace where utd found the holes

His offensive play though was awful , the reason we couldnt get out of our half was his first touch which coupled with Mateta being of simlar vien meant utd retaining possession for long periods .

I was looking forward to my first real good look at JRS when I saw he was starting and given his fan base on here from some who have seen more of him was expecting a bit more
Lets hope he just had an off night , a repeat of that could see him going back to Charlton

Permanently .

And we still need a striker

He was never ever going to show his talents and qualities playing block defensive (let's not call it counter attacking) football for a makeshift Palace side at Old Trafford.

There is a player in there. He just needs a real platform to show it.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Agree, how people can judge the lad on 45 mins is a joke. Lost the ball a couple of times going forward but so did every palace player.
