It don't think it was as special as many believe. More that we "went for it" in the second half. My opinion anyway but him choosing Bournemouth over us which now seems confirmed says something other than just "Afobe is his friend". He's left London to join a different club, think that tells us a lot. Tells me that their style of play will suit him better as they try to play in a similar way to Arsenal apparently (there was a rumour early doors that Wenger was going to push him towards Bournemouth for this reason and hope that he uses it to improve for Arsenal to benefit next season).

Talksport are pretty much saying it's a done deal to Bournemouth. I think Afobe is the main reason he's gone there so he's got someone to talk to on the bench?
Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan |

Bit vague. What type of car is he in? I'm guessing a very nice one, unless he got an uber.

Bournemouth probably suits his ego - he'll be the top dog down there (albeit top dog in the treatment room).

SSN saying he's off to sign for Bournemouth. F--- him. Now Palace has six hours to sign someone else. All that bullsh*t about going to Italy has cost Palace half a day and this looks like going to the wire.

Thank god. Guy has questionable attitude, loves a smoke, thinks he's god's gift and at 2m plus paying all his wages we've dodged a bullet. Cannot believe people were even excited by this.

I heard a couple hours ago that Bournemouth offered to pay all his wages. No idea if it's true and no idea if that's what swung it. But apparently (and rightly so) Palace wasn't going to pay all his (£140k/week) wages and Bournemouth was.

Good hard headed business not to go along with this, but personally I would love to see other alternative signs of activity such as completing the Lookman deal plus either Rincon or McCarthy

After one season in the PL, and with a ground with a small capacity suddenly Bournemouth can afford to pay someone £140K a week. They better pray he doesn't get injured again.
