I think Bournemouth have only kept 1 'clean sheet' in their last 17 games covering league and cup.

Huddersfield 4 Bournemouth 1 FT

All we need now is for Newcastle and Southampton to win. That will really put the cat among the pigeons. What a crazy season this is!

It has been said that 38 pts could be enough to avoid the drop this season.

I really cannot see us getting many points from our next 4 games. Assuming we get a single point this means we will need to get 10 pts from our last 7 games to reach the '38'.On the back of a poor run we will need to get about 1.5 pts a game to reach 38 pts.

I can only keep praying !

The problem Willo is that no club has been cast adrift yet - so it may require a higher than usual tally to be safe. 38 may be enough, but we may very well need more.

Well with the Toons winning it might well be tighter. Hoping for Man Ure to respond and Salah and co. show up against the Saints.

Its looking like 38 points wont be enough with so many teams in the relegation mix. Currently the points difference is very small, unless 3 teams stop picking up points, it could well be 40 points.
Chances are it will go down to the West Brom game.

Bollocks, you delight in the s*** we are in ..because you are nothing more than a weed troll.

I have debated our run ins for a few seasons now with Willo, I have never once felt there was anything but a reluctance to believe we're safe until we're statistically secure. Nothing wrong with a little counter balance in my view, if you don't agree then argue your point.

Whilst you may dissagree with Willo or dislike his posts, that has to be one of the most absurd suggestions I've seen on here for a while. As with most posters on here, I agree with some of their posts and not with others, but just because he, rightly in my opinion, does not subscribe to the foundationless optimism that currently purvades these boards, it does not make him any less a supporter than the rose-tinted ostrich brigade.

Will go down to the last game. West Brom? Pardew would love that wouldn't he!

Everyone around us are going to pick up points now. We just need EVERYONE to go up a gear and start doing the same. Also Roy to drop players who ain't performing like Benteke.

Yes indeed - no doubt Southampton will beat Liverpool now just to make it a magnificent Sunday.
