I don’t think, in their minds, they seek to destroy our country. They seek to cleanse it and save it. They, of course must first be resisted and then re-educated. The far right are not so very different. They believe in an extreme ideology which they convinced themselves we need to all adopt if we are to survive. The solution is identical.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

What form should this reeducation take and whom would be responsible for it? How would it go if anyone here moved to another country and set about cleansing and saving it?

Many who think our empire was a force for good would say we did very well cleansing and saving with missionaries in the vanguard. Others would be not so sure. It was, however, a long time ago and would likely be more keenly resisted now.

Exposure to our culture, patience, determination, effort and love. Given by everybody under an overarching principle that acceptance of our standards and the rule of law is something expected of everyone who lives in our country. That means no one has the right, whatever their personal convictions, to attempt to cleanse and save us in any way that conflicts with our standards or the rule of law. That applies equally to all. Whatever their religion or lack of one. In short carrot and stick.
