Looking at this summer's International tournaments we could NINE players involved!- For England- Henderson, wharton, Guehi amd Eze I you really wanted to be picky and include the Olympics then add Olise and Mateta to the list making ELEVEN. Does any other club have that many Int'ls.

That was bad last night. Really slow. Much like watching palace under Roy. Not too worried as so many were missing (mainly Bellingham who recently had been making England tick). One thing I will say and I am saying this as an England supporter not as a Palace supporter. Wharton is the key. He speeds things up in the middle of the park and sees the killer pass earlier than most. I honestly think he is what was missing. If he doesn’t start he will come on and change things and then that will be him in for the tournament.

Joe Cole's point after the game was that he players were mainly concerned with not getting injured. Which raises the question - what was the point of the match apart from raising some money?
