Here is a little bit of nostalgia for you, a feature from the Saint and Greavsie show from 1989 including an interview with RN ahead of our away trip to Selhurst Park against the clowns, also included are the goals from a non Palace match at Selhurst Park (left in for continuities sake..)and the goals from our magnificent win up at Old Trafford from the previous Saturday.

Were you on the Away coach to Selhurst that day ?

Hope you enjoy the vid.

I was there and I went by coach.
Always been proud of the fact that I've seen us win at old trafford.
The native's were really restless after we went 2-1 up,singing 'fergie out' for the rest of the game....if only they'd known.

I once went to a gentlemans evening with saint and greavsey at selhurst in the late 80's,they were really funny and it was a good night from what I remember.

cheers for the snippet Hil,great memories.

I remember that; great quality vid Hil.

Always loved that last line by Greavsie and kind of sums up Palace for me:

'Could only happen in this country that - and at Crystal Palace i might add!'

Amazing clip thanks, was at both games,United was unreal, was at Anfiled as well for our 1st ever win there a few years later.

I got nicked by Ginger old bill V the Clowns that day, then let go by him with a slap on the wrist! unreal considering I booted a clown fan flush in the gonads and a amzing right punch to the jaw almost instantaneously as the boot hit home Well he did come at me giving it the large, calling me a Palace w@nker and all that!

I dunno I look back and think what an idiot but would I do it again?? Probably

Nice clip. I missed that game cos i was at college in Portsmouth at the time. In the clip Noades said Palace fans would have to go in the away end but didn't we still get the bulk of the Holmesdale as usual?

I remember the season before I covered Charlton against Millwall at Selhurst and Millwall won 3-0 and I remember looking over at the Holmesdale and it was all Millwall singing 'no one likes us...' I felt like a Parisian watching the Nazis march up the Champs Elysee.

Also a bit rich of Noades having a dig at Charlton for not chipping in to pay for the scoreboard and family enclosure. Don't f*cking blame 'em, Ron van wattsisface
