Just seen Wrexham doing an open top parade today .Supporting palace for over 50 years don't remember us ever doing one even Brighton done one on promotion to premiership.

I can't remember one either, though an open top bus parade would have been appropriate when we finally persuaded Alan Mullery to go to Rome to see the Pope :-)

I thought people followed the van down the Holmesdale Rd to see the Palace Aces a few times. There was to be no dilly-dallying on the way.

Only time Palace have done one was 1969 - it went from Selhurst Park to the Fairfield Halls in Croydon where there was a civic reception Edited by dorking (03 May 2023 12.54pm)
