At this time, Middlesbrough, although 19th, can reach 52 points, meaning Palace require 53 for absolute survival. Palace have 28, meaning the MNFPLS is 53-28=25. Any combination of Place points gained and Boro points dropped adding up to 25 means we don't get relegated.
