Attached is a photo of Mark Bright and some Hong Kong kids wearing the shiny new shirts of the four teams in the tournament.

The Liverpool and Leicester kids seem reasonably happy, the Palace kids somewhat bemused and the West Brom kids completely pi$$ed off.

N.B. Palace are the only team that could not produce the new season shirts on time.

If true then that's a little embarrassing...

Puncheon and de Boer does media duties at the tournament. Look like puncheon will be keeping the armband.

Probably an ad hoc photo op and the Palace shirts are not in the sports stores - just top 6.

As the new Shirt Sleeve Sponsor (and Shirt Sponsor for the Asia Trophy) hadn't yet been announced they probably had to go with the old top.

Don't get me wrong I think it's good we're playing this asia Cup and obviously it's just friendlies but hey there is a Cup involved so I'm sure everyone will want to be on it.

But just doesn't feel right to me that we're playing Liverpool when there gonna be the second team we play come august. Probably reading to much in to it, but I'd rather not have this result fresh in everyone's memories. We win and maybe they'll up there game next time, and likewise if they win maybe it'll knock our confidence.

Anyway probably matters not, just something that's been on my mind.

11 am in the UK. At least we won't have to tolerate that Scouse-fest this time.

Do you think the Asia trophy was a success overall or did us being Hong Kong, made us fall further behind in terms of recruitment.

Overall was a good thing to see us against other Premier League opposition. I'm sure FBD learned a lot about how the squad actually plays and individual capabilities. In terms of recruitment surely we must be able to conduct business without being in the U.K?
