A plea for set pieces

From my own calculations we are around top in conceding from set pieces, and I can only remember us scoring from one? Tomkins header from a corner.
When we concede a corner or free kick, I'm nervous (aren't we all?). The players look nervous too.
When we have a set piece it goes nowhere, particularly free kicks. I don't see the problem with launching them into the box once in a while and then competing for first or second ball.

My main issue is that this is simple to rectify through training. Yet, we've got steadily worse. Are we training on this? It doesn't look like it. Watch Liverpool matches and they try the corner they scored from every game. It would have not been hard to work out.
We've conceded over 10 from set pieces, it's just not good enough. Please, please, please work on them. We don't have Bergkamp or Henry, we could just score a goal from a corner or free kick in the Pulis way for all I care.
This is something the manager and Dougie must see, surely? Fed up with it. If we're no good, then get a set piece coach in, we simply have to improve in this regard. It's not rocket science. It's a football basic.

What a great observation, I wonder if Viera has noticed?

Should be fixed next week
