Can't help thinking that there's no smoke without fire..

Story is that after an interview with Lyon Graham Potter was apparently impressed by the ambition of the club but decided now is not the right time. Was Textor behind/favour this and does it suggest that he will push for Potter to Palace next summer? What do others think of the possibility? I think he might suit us but would his baggage with Brighton and Chelsea be too much?

Potential fireworks!

I think it will be Southgate once he leaves England after the euros, not my first choice but I have this feeling

With his poor spell at Chelsea and De Zerbi doing better at Brighton, his stock has fallen more to our level but I think the England job may be more likely. He's the kind of guy the FA like

I think a lot depends on how the season goes. Hodgson seems to handle the players well and is not the sort to kick up a fuss so he may get renewed

Spot on DANGERCLOSE, Southgate will be our Manager next season. All in place hence Roy's one year contract.

Why is Parish getting excited over an international manager... it means nothing at all, when the prem has changed drastically since his time, which he didn't do great in... I just have to wonder if parish thinks we are stupid...

I wonder if Potter is waiting for the right PL job to become vacant when the managerial sackings get under way sometime in the Autumn. Current favourite as first to be sacked is Dyche at 6/4. Would Potter relish the challenge of the madhouse that is Everton? Roy is currently 13th on the list at 25/1 for the sack.

It will be Paddy 100%, like it or not.

Have been saying this for a while. Southgate to leave England after Euros 2024, comes to Palace. Potter to England.

Please not Southgate - we’ve seen with the Phillips, Henderson and Maguire decision just how s***e he is as a manager. He is simply not good enough and will take us down.
Not sure about Potter. I don’t think he’s as good as people think and Brighton are flying without him. He didn’t pull up any trees at Chelsea.
Paddy Mac is interesting and Roy is probably good to judge him.
This ridiculous love in Parish seems to have with ex players has to stop.

Parish loves an ex-player. Despite previously criticising the fans for being obsessed with them, he is worse
