From a position of relative strength, Cameron asked for very little. He will be offered even less and come back proclaiming he "triumphed"in Brussels, urging us all to vote to remain within the EU. If the country does vote to remain, the European Parliament, as they have threatened, may well block everything, meaning the whole exercise was a complete waste of time.

I think an 'out' vote in the upcoming referendum is now beginning to look like a distinct possibility.

For those of you who listened - I (and hopefully you) made a lot of money on the Tory majority last year. Here's your next chance - we're coming out of the EU. It won't even be close. And I'm not charging for my tips...fill your boots, Palace people. Pay for next season's ST's.... OF
