I know I should be confident, we have incredible batting all down the order, strike bowlers, some of the best all rounders in the game, and its on home soil. Our recent form has been on the whole pretty exceptional. Why am I still s***ting myself that we are gonna blow it again in an ODI world cup? Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I have to say our squad looks very good on paper. Lets hope the pressure of being at home doesn't hamper Englands progress. Something we Palace supporters have witnessed already!

It will be a very open World Cup and nearly every country in the tournament has a good chance of winning as they all have match winners. Only South Africa, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan are non contenders IMO but it promises to be a great tournament.

On paper this has to be our best chance ever of winning a World Cup. However, didn't we say that at the Champions Trophy last time. You just know that when it really matters England will pull a horrendous collapse out of the hat. England have just beaten pakistan 4-0 in a series, but they are just the type of side that will turn us over in a knockout format. England 2/1 or pakistan 12/1. I think I'd rather have a little e/w on the latter.

You just know that when it really matters England will pull a horrendous collapse out of the hat.

I wouldn't write off Afghanistan if I were you as they have a couple of world class spinners and given suitable pitches they could make some batting units look very silly
