Anyone shed some light on this for me? My Grandad, born and bred Sydenham, with Palace close to his heart, always used to call us The Screaming Alice. I never heard it anywhere else - just him. Ring any bells with anyone? Just asking, thanks.

My mate, a bouncer at Fulham calls us Crippled Alice. Full on cockney. Uses all the slang.
