Try not to imagine a slack jawed, yokel's guffaw of the statement itself but the impact on someone who takes themselves so seriously they have lost all sense of humour in any guise, to the extent they do not even realise they are a mere puppet on a string for others with a far more palpable grip on reality's existence. And as for context, this is a football forum, not The Hague, the context is most certainly apt for a childish chuckle. You only demean yourself by elevating it to a level at which it is to be taken so seriously and literally. I'd also add, according to a source of mine, that she is in fact a 'slag', cos he heard she was bunking off school once because she was gonna go down the wimbley and get off with Luke Griffiths, only she never because he's been trying to grow a moustache but it just looks like pubes, so she got off with Luke Torbet instead, only don't tell Bethany that because she's fancied Luke Torbet ever since she flashed her fanny at him during Home Ec'.

Do you know Jimenez? He is not known for humour of any form, let alone clever wit based upon irony with a 'palpable grip'. He just thinks she's a slag, maybe she wouldn't snog him behind the bike sheds once.

And if what you are saying is indeed true, I like to think I've at the very least provided some levity on the thread, I do like to from time to time but would be aghast if I had accidentally, genuinely riled someone to any serious extent in meaning to do so. Cheer up all, we're gonna win 2-1 on Saturday

This slag issue appears to be somewhat controversial. Please let Akshata Murty both smelt and conduct her unethical financial affairs in peace. Respect her privacy, her dignity, and her slagging practices.

Your perpetual outrage at a joke about an actors wife's hair (for which a comedian was physically assaulted), makes me question whether you're the best person to talk about the importance of law over emotion. So suddenly only the law matters? A brand new belief system every thread. People taking a view here 'are' considering the ethics of it, not solely which legal loopholes or path that's been forged for the rich by the rich has been used. They're hardly calling for anyone's arrest and you might well know that politicians behaviour (and those influencing them or benefiting from their association) is routinely not aligned with the interests of the tax payer. That's certainly something of relevance. People can decide for themselves how they feel about this and indeed their government. There isn't one way to look at it that's for 'idiots' and one for others; clearly it has split opinion and that's fine. Edited by BlueJay (12 Apr 2022 12.53pm) I wasn't outraged at the joke, let alone "perpetual outrage". I was more questioning the fact that people were outraged at the act of defence of a spouse. You know, like you are outraged by his violence. But this has nothing to do with this thread. It's whataboutery. Again. You constantly divert from the topic. If you post anything valid, I'll reply, otherwise, don't bother. Idiot.

Ethics do come into it. He part runs the country. People are taking it up with parliament. If you hadn’t noticed, the government keep an eye on their popularity and it seems Sunak won’t ever be PM now. That good enough for you? Or did you expect 400 independent MP’s or a new party to get elected for the first time for a century within a couple of years? Edited by Rudi Hedman (12 Apr 2022 6.13am) I see where you are coming from, and understand the 'popularity' angle, but what has happened here is not illegal. I get that it appears unethical, but if the system allows it, get the system changed, don't hate on the people who use the system.
