totally agree but it's the same at club level. for example. Chelsea fans don't dislike qpr that much at all. and yet qpr fan's can't stand Chelsea. I think it's totally because we generally are the strongest nation at football out of then all and they all want big brother to e put down. that's all it is.

Well - that's nice! It's funny how us English (even if we live in Wales) are so often the bad mouthed part of the UK family. But I did see the smiley and I do share the joke. Hmm. The Welsh were reasonable in celebrating because it meant they'd got further than England and thus were top dog in the Euros among the Home Nations. The Scots didn't celebrate, but they did laugh their arses off for days on end.

Steady on. Yes - this is the point, Dreamwaverider, I support the home nations. I supported Scotland when Archie scored the wonder goal against Holland in the 70s. I would have loved Scotland to have qualified for the Euros this time, but they didn't. I was pleased that England beat Scotland when Gazza scored the wonder goal in 96 but was really sad when we conceded a goal against Holland which let Holland go through instead of Scotland that year.

I think Sg Bilko was wrong. But not as wrong as he could have been. My understanding is that outside of the transfer window you can sign anyone who was unattached prior to the window opening. But you can only add them to the squad if there is a space in the squad *and* the Premier League board approve it. So it isn't automatic. I doubt there is much precedent for approval being refused, but it can in theory be rejected.

No I'm right, when you don't believe me perhaps you'll believe the Premier Leagues own site. [Link]

Lots of previous for this. Probably licking his wounds right now, taking it really seriously. Was badly wrong on a topic pre Palace in the Prem and there was one a few weeks ago. Sg Bilge didn't post again for 5 days. No not licking any wounds, as I'm correct, when you don't believe me perhaps you'll believe the Premier Leagues own site. [Link] If your able to read just scroll down to paragraph 3 of the Premier Leagues own site, it's very clear even you will be able to understand it.
