Wrong, this part of the text "The squad list can not be amended until the next transfer window opens on Sunday 1 January" is very clear, "amended" means changed. Actually mate you are wrong, don't need the article to tell me that.

No, a team cannot amend the 25 man squad so swap out a player for a player but they can add players to it if they do not have 25 men named already. Otherwise why would any club be linked with any players now? Correct.

Lots of previous for this. Probably licking his wounds right now, taking it really seriously. Was badly wrong on a topic pre Palace in the Prem and there was one a few weeks ago. Sg Bilge didn't post again for 5 days. Sorry, I didn't realise I'd logged into the Grange Hill playground. So he got it wrong.....meh. Edited by Mr_Gristle (03 Sep 2016 12.57am)

Bilko bashing aside, does anyone have a view on whether he will fit into the side? I read a none too flattering report by some dull gooners (they all are) who think it quite amusing that we might end up with him. I suppose it doesn't fit the arse mould of keeping possession for a full five minutes before an expert lateral pass on to the left wing where the recipient keeps possession for a full six minutes before passing the ball expertly back... Repeat for 90 minutes

Repeat for 90 minutes The partnership he and Fabregas had before they both moved on was the main reason Arsenal did well in that period. He's got a wealth of experience and if we got him I'd imagine he'd probably be a starter most of the time.

What should be remembered about Flamini is that he has filled-in at both right-back and left-back, in fact I recall him being played at left-back for Arsenal .Certainly a natural leader who will put his foot in when necessary. Not a goal-scoring midfielder of course and in terms of his card count : 2015-16 5 yellows from 24 apps Arsenal Edited by Willo (03 Sep 2016 10.40am)

We need cover for Cabaye and JM, I do think that Ledley is better than people think and can definitely do a job for us. Consistent when he has played. Under rated. Nobody we have been linked with or bought has Jedi's leadership qualities, from that point of view he is a big miss as well as his other qualities. Whilst no doubt Jedi has these attributes I would of thought Tomas Rincon, the Venezuelan captain with 75 caps might also have some of this. Supposedly the fee was the sticking point. I'd take Flamini as a stop gap but would be worried that with a full 25 we would have do some off loading in Jan to get somebody like Rincon or other targets.
