All it means is the smaller clubs become finishing schools. (Feeder clubs for the super clubs)

We take all the risk in developing their player and pay them to do it.

Either they develop him or they sell him.

I agree, but Im not bothered about a buy back clause. The market is already giddy, so I can't see Chambers ever being worth £28M and if he is well we would make a good gain. But the purchase price should be max half the buy back by law, e.g. £14M. If we pay £18M then it should be £36M.

Think we are using this as bait for Liverpool to lower their price tbf
