Have to disagree about Gabiadinni. He was brought as a replacement for Ian Wright and just couldn't follow in his footsteps. There are many clubs that he played for before and after us for which he scored and made many goals. At another time for us he would of been a good buy, for which I'm sure. An earlier text mentioned "Brian Bason". I think that would be my choice as would many of the signings made by Alan Mullery back in the early 80's. Mind you I think Bason was a Dario Gradie?

Also Doherty, M Droy although he was rather big, can't remember some of the recent ones as I stopped going for a while.

To go back several pages, I think it was Jamie Moralee who went to Millwall when we got Armstrong. Scored lots of goals for them then disappeared ( a bit like David Whyte at Charlton). One not yet mentioned - Chris Whyte (loan from Arsenal).
How about a pair of pink sidewinders and a bright orange pair of pants .... |

Steven Thompson's wonder goal against Leicester in the League cup a few years ago let's him off and Curtis wasn't so bad, better than Borrowdale.

1 thing ill always remember about curtis was his 'pass' to butterfield in a home game a few seasons back. Butts was standing about 5 steps away from him and curtis decides to hit it at him as hard as he can!!

our current worst player has to be borrowdale
Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and... Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder? Well, it's one louder, isn't it? |
