Hope you are right, I don't fancy being fenced in as we were in the 60's & 70s.

I'm fairly certain that would be deemed irreversible thanks to Hillsborough - they are really trying to retain all-seater stadiums, do you really think they'll end up erecting fences? Also, that might be due to the multitude of issues of other aspects of hooliganism found throughout English football, which are largely non-existent in the English game now. Again, why comparing incidents of hooliganism in countries such as Turkey, Poland etc., to be silly given the completely different situations of the leagues.

Get a life mate. you are making a mountain out of a molehill. I have a life, but it doesn't include bringing fireworks with me to a football match,or vandalising an opponent's ground. Call me old fashioned but I go to watch the football and have scream and shout when necessary.

I go to watch the football, sing for 90 minutes and not get all bent out of shape about a few bangers and 1 flare or anything else that is not the norm in footie. Each to their own though.

Some people on this site will have a go at the HF whatever they do or do not do and it is usually the same posters(you know who you are).Give it a rest you were young once like myself, just live and let live,no harm was done and blame Chelseas inadquate security for letting the pyrotechnics into the ground in the first place.Have to say I'm on the HF's side on this occasion.

I mean it's not actually necessary and many would say it's anti social. But you do it any way? Is it such a terrible thing that a couple of bangers were let off.. ? How many kids don't get taken to football matches becuase of the fool language being shouted and yet a flare and a banger is oh so awful?

Not even allowed at official Bonfire Nights now, you'll not be admitted, more dangerous than bangers and flares could set the rest of the pyros up in one go.

One flair was let off and two bangers, hardly calls for the reactions we are getting. Check out you tube, Poland , turkey , Greece, Russia etc. Every game is a pyrotechnic extravaganza !! And yes, they did refuse to sell beer at half time at the bridge, slightly annoying but we all managed to survive until after the game and hitting the pub again. I will take the atmosphere and a few flares generated by palace fans every week against the "sit on your hands with a half n half scarf around your neck brigade". Atmosphere looked amazing! Truly amazing. I doubt we'd have won without HF creating so much noise.
