I have no idea why you should feel uncomfortable!

I want these criminals found and removed from being a threat as much as anyone else.

I think the views I hold are very far from dangerous and not applying them is where the danger lies.

We want all decent people helping the Police to root out the criminals. Therefore we need to reach out to them and not to ostracise them by building barriers.

We need the communities where these people seem to mostly be hiding to reject them and not give them safe spaces in which a veil of silence prevails.

I think that particularly applies to the women, especially the younger ones who have grown up here and they will be as disgusted at this behaviour as any of us.

Building bridges to us and removing fear will, I am sure, be part of the authorities strategy.

Potentially stigmatising them by using descriptions like "Muslim" or "Islamic" is to build links to the criminals and not bridges to us.

So unless there is another, overriding, reason why such descriptions are needed, and helpful, my argument is simply that it's better to abandon them.

My sympathies are all with the victims and the best way to help them and stop any others being created.

Of course there is no question that the person being interviewed might just be rubbish at football which might just explain why she failed to get on in the teams she tried out for.?

This wasn't much of an interview she doesn't seem to have been challenged on any of her assertions.
