Rather than cleverly trying to squirm your way around it - it's not working btw - what would more interesting is why you would think some people would consider second and third generation people who happen to have a different skin colour but were born and educated here as being "foreign" and why you would even think that they would. It may have been that night that more stories were in the news that related to an area that matched that demographic. What happens in the world on any given day is someone out of our control. Who latches onto a particular racial percentage on a given night, repeatedly brings up this racial point, then attacks others for bringing it up. If there's a lot of coverage about Trump, can I come on here and moan about how an orange face dominate the news?

You'll have to forgive me if I'm not 100% on whether you're talking about the racial make up of those in the news pieces or presening the news, because it's such an unusual and racially charged point to notice and make that it did require some explaining. I've literally never heard anyone from any political party say that there are too many non whites or non white stories in the news.

For one, people watching ITV news know that it's a british news channel so they wouldn't be 'forgiven for thinking they've tuned into a foreign channel by mistake'.
