Yep. Why would he now want to come to Palace? If we did divulge his knee problem we have certainly not helped his career or mental state.

I do get the impression that many supporters are not happy at the mention of a renewed 1 year contract for Hodgson.Perhaps talk of an extended contract will not boost season ticket sales, indeed quite the reverse.

I have and will continue to support Roy, as I think he has been let down by the powers that be ( although I am getting tired of the same tactics every week). My concern is that Freedman wants the job and, for me, that would be a step too far

I'm not saying you're wrong but I'm thinking us and the player himself would be expecting a first team place asap... Obviously that depends on how he recovers from injury and has decent game time in pre season..

Obviously if he is ready and is better than Ward he can jump right in.
