I completely get where you re coming from on this thread but remember that all of these anti-immigration organisations had self interest at their centre. They did not see any advantage in immigration from the Carribean and then Asia, Africa and so on. I have no time for skinhead knuckle draggers, but if you look at crime, terrorism and social division related to immigration, these 'naysayers' had a valid point all along. The skinhead NF stereotype was the face that the establishment was happy for people to see. With Muslims specifically, it should be remembered that the Irish troubles were perpetuated largely by people who were not religious fanatics but just discontents. The religion was used to galvanise them as a group but had no real bearing on their actions or their aims. Muslims do not have to be specifically radicalised by religious leaders but only need a perceived mutual interest as Muslims and a sense of injustice to be potential terrorists. The IRA did not have a vast amount of members but they were hidden and supported by the wider community. History is in danger of repeating itself if we let it. Yes... I agree... For every terrorist attack, I read there are 12-15 on average that knew, but kept quiet. It's horrific...I'd jail them for life, but... that's not the point i'm making. My point is Tommy Robinson is a s***-bag. People seem to think because I hate TR... I'm left wing... truth is... I don't know where my politics lay... some issues i'm centre, some left of centre and some right of centre. I judge each situation on facts and evidence available... I use the facts/evidence to say TR is a wring 'un. Gotta go chaps. Stay safe Stirling.... listen to some jazz fm and chill.

Robinson might not be everyone's cup of tea but I guarantee that any individual that was chosen to represent the movement against immigration and all things related would be discredited by the left and the establishment and the media. No one is squeaky clean under deep inspection and what you can't find you invent.

He's by no means ideal but he's not as bad as the agenda against him makes out.

Robinson meets the British Army.

The UK government, and its offshoot that is the Army, is officially in '1984' mode. Its citizens are 'not allowed' to be photographed with an activist THEY don't like. This is the No.1 story on Sky News' website and they included the fake quote attributed to TR in it also. [Link] The Army is apparently now investigating the TR photo and said: "Far-right ideology is completely at odds with the values and ethos of the armed forces." Except Robinson is not far right. Even if he was, as an individual he (and the soldiers) should have the rights and freedom to talk to and be photographed with anyone he (or they) likes. The government has gone into full authoritarian mode which could lead us down a dangerous path... The actual neo-nazis of the far right believe in authoritarianism. The irony is incredible... The other irony is Jeremy Corbyn MP, leader of Labour and the Leader of the Official Opposition, is genuinely far left and has been photographed with actual terrorists, enemies of the UK, throughout his career. But that's perfectly acceptable in political and media circles. Maybe if he grew up on a council estate in Luton it would be different? Edited by Penge Eagle (10 Oct 2018 2.00am)

Everything the left touches it destroys. Ukip's leader said recently 'don't let your boys join the army'. He's right...I detest these people...let the kids of the left join the army. See how many join up then.....The army is nationalist in its very nature. The politicians have appointed leaderships that are miles away from the working class mindsets of most of the troops and literally talk nonsense.

It is astonishing that in its desperation to contain 'far-Right' politics, the establishment is becoming everything they hoped to avoid. What next? Burning books? Corrective treatment?

I think the problem with it is that the army aren't meant to be political.
