I seem to remember somone called Leif Anderson who was pretty useful at finding his own net in the few appearances he had for the club!

I seem to remember somone called Leif Anderson who was pretty useful at finding his own net in the few appearances he had for the club! I remember it was quite shocking when Palace were to sign a mediocre player from the Norwegian second division (FC Moss) for £120, 000 in January 1996. At least, Leif Andersen didn`t surprise anyone. His defending were shocking. After beeing released from Palace in 97 he returned to Moss and played a couple of matches for them before being released from them aswell. He has to get my vote, but at least, he always gave us everything (including own goals).

Apparently, my sister, who knows next to nothing about football, said to my dad when they were at the Palace: Whos that big blonde pr*ck?

Clive Allen. Scored one goal that I remember and it was disallowed after it came back out from the stanchion. This we got in return for Kenny Sansom? I don't think so. He was the standard of w##k by which all future w##k shall be measured. Mutonic excuse for a footballer.

leif leif anderson!!! a walking erection! That was the first name that came to mind too. Wayne Andrews as well, seemed like a lovely bloke and always gave 100% so it was impossible to dislike him, but he was pony.

Brolin was awful, but he didn't stay too long - worst by a mile in my long history with the club were Brian Whitehouse and Ian Lawson (mid to late 60's) - anyone else remember those two?
