JUST IN.
Klopp wants Ayew in swap deal for Salha plus cash

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

It's a funny old game. we had so many first half shots against Leicester but only won due to a last minute goal. Leeds bossed us for 20 minutes but then second half we crushed them totally. I have been critical of Eze but today he showed what he is capable of, good interplay with Olise and off the ball running, alongside his natural skills.
Hopefully the confidence will build and we can go into the remaining games knowing what we are capable of when all the team plays to its strengths.

Admittedly a lot could happen in the weeks between and Zaha's return to fitness, but question for the panel:

"Who would you drop from today's side to make way for Wilf?"

Yes i was wondering that myself, will he even get back into the team ? you know what they say " if it aint broke dont fix it" , we have to get used to playing without him sooner rather than later. If he was playing today it reckon it would have been a different score line and would have turned into the Ayling vs Zaha game with a lot of sulking and whinging . Great result btw , oh the joys of being a Palace fan . COYP do the same to Southampton .

That was rubbish, we'll be last on match of the day again (and we absolutely will!),

Yea it will be all about how bad Leeds were and not how good Palace were .

To be fair Leeds were stunningly bad in the second half.

But at the same time we were suddenly passing the ball around with such slick moves it was as those of us of a certain age would say was 'just like watching Brazil.'

A big bonus Johnson's performance, coming in to play like that in that atmosphere is not easy.

And the players taking on the information at HT, and doing what they were asked to do.

All credit to Roy and Ray for that.

we weathered a storm then slowly pushed Leeds back , told my son they always run out of steam , i called it after watching them defend crosses we slept but they was awful in setting themselves ,

so so good watching us play football , what ever Roy and Ray done could not praise them enough , I always believed in these players and never understand why they didnt show it , talent is there hope who ever takes over keeps it going . COYP

We look like a team released from shackles, and that's on Roy. I must say I feared the worst when RH was appointed, but I've just had my fill of humble pie.

So many players seemingly improved overnight, well done all! Feel like we're within touching distance of safety. What a turn around.

Fun fact , that was our joint highest away win in premier league , Sam Johnstone has played in both , our last won saw him concede 5 against us when we played West Brom at the hawthornes with Connor Gallagher scoring their only goal on loan from Chelsea

The vast majority of their fans were still singing their team on at the death.
