Conner Wickham must think his Palace days are over except that Batshuai is only on loan until the end of the season and will be gone . Benteke played well yesterday and miss a good chance . Batshuai came on ran around a lot but faded once he missed the open goal chance .

Unless he can come back from his latest injury, not get injured again, and contribute some goals before the end of the year then it could be curtains. Shame as he has a lot of potential but sometimes you just need to move on from a particular player.

Where do you all suggest he fits in? Even if he is fit, he is 4 th choice behind Ayew then, Benteke. The tide has turned with the arrival of Batshuayi. We are firing on all cylinders which never happened when Sorloth and or Wickham played. Both are out of their depth at the levels we are now achieving.
