The man was more into his booze than his job. Good call by the chairmen. All I ask of you is that we have a slightly more professional manager next time around! No it wasnt a knee jerk reaction. I have had concerns for a while that I had made a mistake . In the end I dont think George and Crystal Palace were the right fit.

I spoke to george more or less everyday, I have no issues with him , he's a decent hardworking and very nice man, it was difficult t have to tell him as I think its as much my fault as his.

The general consensus on here Steve is that the right decision has been made and with enough time to reverse the way things were going before the season ends. WE mightn't do it but at least now there is a chance.

I strongly advise you to look at Paul Tisdale's CV even if just for future reference. The guy has spent just £50,000 on transfer fees in the last four seasons and his teams play football properly. Great with youth players too. I've watched Exeter a lot and the guy is almost God-like down here. He will understand the situation at Palace and turn it around with style given at least 18 months.

3) who is the new manager going to be?
