However, I suspect we were going to put a bid in for him this January anyway. Buy and put him on a 2 year contract. Until then, Fryers, Ward et al will have to cover. Btw, I suspect I know the answer [and please let this not be a Bilko thread] I assume there is no room for emergency loan in the event of long term injury? A nasty thought, but please take this as a hypothetical: what if a squad player dies?

The whole idea of having a squad of 25 is to provide cover in case of injuries as in theory if one of our first team received a long term injury there are a further 14 players to choose a replacement from
