I agree but must remember that Tomkins, ward and Kelly can play rb and if they sign Chambers that more than covered. Personally don't think this JR is ready for the first team yet, could be wrong.

Seriously can't see this happening at all we already have Delaney tomkins dann and now riedwald we don't need another centre back its just paper talk we need a RB and a centre forward and another GK

Chambers is a right back though, that last season spend on loan at boro occupied the centre back position

FdB seems to like versatility and Chambers, having wiki'd him etc, seems like he could play either at RB or right sided CB? My guess is that if he did sign for Palace, he'd end up as RB with Ward as cover

I do like the idea of us signing him as a RB as he's def good enough for our first team. Would be perfect as a loan with option to buy. Might suit both parties. How many loans are we allowed?
