Just back from a quick 'sunshine-break' and sad to see what's happened here recently. I'm equally sad to see that many very good posters have upped sticks. Not good for this site, imo. Oh well, onwards and (hopefully) upwards.

I know some people care passionately about politics, but ultimately this is a Crystal Palace fan website. We'd be quite happy to shut the politics forum down to avoid all the hassle that has come with trying to moderate it. Palace Talk gets almost 20 times the number of page views and the vast majority of site visitors want to chat about Palace – and not try to change people's political beliefs.

Man, Nick would just love that. I'd prefer we just went back to 'general talk' now the reason for that split is gone. I think things will get less polarized.
