As a disgruntled fan, is there any chance of getting Beckham on loan to boost our squad... Obviously, I'm talking about Victoria Beckham - she is better than anything we have at the moment.. I think GB did a good job - its just that we came up against a team that always beat us - doesn't matter who is manager.... Steve, I think you are really great :-)

really? so hes in the picture? I too would be very happy to see Chris Hughton arrive. That would be a major boost to our season which has been pretty awful so far. I just hope that with the search for a new manager going on that people don't forget that we need more players. Lets be honest our defence is appalling and I hope that CPFC2010 remember why George Burley was in such a mess in the first place. Our team has some major holes in it. Also please, no more players on loan. We need players that are signed up and 100% behind the team in this situation. Thanks for answering questions on here. Its very interesting.

Thanks for answering our questions Steve. For what its worth, I'm dragging as many people down as I can for Preston - we'll do our bit, you do yours and get someone in who can get us out of the brown stuff. Have to disagree on the Alan Lee issue though. I know he was a 60 a day man and his fitness was never going to improve but bloody hell he roughed up and intimidated some defences last season...I feel thats exactly what we're missing at the moment - someone to scare the s*** out of the opposition...and elbow them when the ref is not looking.
