Roy's interviews are always so sterile and stage managed by a guy with decades of media training. Football and life in general needs a few more people that wear their hearts on their sleeve.

I definitely would not go after Lennon. He tends to be a character who generates division on a number of fronts and has no track record outside of the really poor Scottish environment; even there, his record is far from outstanding.
I suspect, Palace will look no further than Freedman. He has shown again that he has a great eye for talent, is shrewd where money is concerned and may well be hungry to get back to a coaching role. In many respects, it would generate continuity - often not a bad choice especially in such uncertain times as today.

I agree with you Willo. However, interesting a poster apparently has it on such good authority that Freedman would not be appointed and he has no desire to go back into coaching.

I must say that surprises me but he keeps quite a low profile with few public statements. Personally, I would like to hear Freedman say something to that effect himself rather than relying on posters who claim to have knowledge of his views.
