Schlupp was on 80k a week at Leicester 25k more than Mahrez.

Jenkinson actually started at Charlton He has been happy to go out on loan before It often isn't about the money per se, it is about how the manager is perceived to rate you as a player. As I say little sympathy but can understand why someone would be upset when they find out another player is getting paid 50% more for a comparable position

He's been happy to go on loan because he's nowhere near good enough for Arsenal I'd like to think if I was Jenkinson I'd compare my career with Schlupp's so far and I'd understand why he's been offered a bit more.But then again I probably wouldn't think like that either because I'd be a self obsessed money grabbing b****** too

Wonder if we might be back in for him at the end of the season: Off the BBC sports section: Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson, 25, is wanted by newly promoted Brighton - as well as Newcastle United - in the summer. Jenkinson has been told he can leave the Gunners after six years with the club. (Daily Mirror)
