We are not better now but Pardew had to go!
The Club lost it's identity (thanks to whoever said that) under Pardew i'm afraid - like it or not.
Had he gone at the end of last season we might noit be where we are now.
We all have differing opinions of who is to blame but it won't change what is happening now.
Total and abject failure from the top of the Club down will probably see us playing Championship football next Season.
Very sad and no need for it to have happened - no need at all - bloody Pardew!!!

OK until the goal, then sharply dropped in form. Poor going forward throughout the match though.

Palace: 1 (one) shot on target ffs

another toothless performance, and some piss poor displays. we couldve played til next christmas and not scored. i wasnt for SA, but wasnt against him either. i think his appointment was very short sighted. i want to support him, but if his tactics are to lump the ball up to benteke every week, he needs to jack in management. any one of us could get the players to that. so one dimensional, and bereft of ideas. this isnt about fitness anymore, this is HIS tactics.
luka looked decent.
punch, ward, and tomkins must all have vaseline on their boots. f***ing awful. i love delaney, but i think his time has passed. useful squad/back up player.
the most expensively assembled squad we've ever had, look cheap and nasty.
relagation beckons.

We can still do it. Other teams are playing really poorly too. Boro, Swansea and Leicester all poor.

Today wasn't dreadful. Players like Townsend turned up. It isn't over and if we somehow get a run together by the Spurs game, we'll still be able to pick up points from some of those teams.

Yes, we are in touching distance of a number of poor teams but our run in at the end of this campaign will send us back to the Championship. We only HAD to beat teams around us at the bottom of the Premiership and we've failed miserably in that respect. We may win a game or two before May but as for going on a successful run .... it would be nothing short of a miracle!

Sunderland 4 down. What a difference a week makes.

Just more evidence as to how crap we really are.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

If we don't rediscover the scoring form we showed under Pardew we are doomed. 0-0 draws, even if we managed them, won't keep us up.
We now realise that the lack of a decent midfield playmaker is why we are going to be relegated.

How far we've fallen? Looking at this team bar mcarthur and wilf I see nothing of the palace I love nor the palace that loves me back. If you're going to bring in big timers, you have to get it right. I'd be gutted for parish and "possible" stadium development, but right now I'd happily take relegation in order to get some identity back. They're going to let us down again next week too, very hard to get excited about these "big games" when they don't seem to mean anything to the manager or majority of players.

Yeah, the lazy b@stards won't even be playing.

C*nts.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Much more positive there compared with last week. Need to play the Remy card earlier and not have such blind faith in Puncheon, who actually only started to play after Remy had replaced someone else! Ward was very poor but there was more chasing for the ball and trying to get it back in the midfield rather than the acquiecence they have been showing, and Milivojevic will be excellent after a couple of weeks of actual training - today he was just chucked in the deep end. Wilf needs to go to the sports psychologist. Need Sakho in that back line.

General problem is though we're still trying to soak up too much pressure in our own half and instead of pushing up as a unit we're rushing out, losing the ball and getting caught with men upfield. Better use of the ball by Sakho and Milivojevic should improve this.

Alternatively we can all sit and whine about how s***e we are, if you prefer.

At times, Wilf shows so much promise but is in dire need of therapy to calm himself down. We were vastly improved over last week but we're still $hite. Was it one or two shots at their goal?
