27.5m??? Not GBP nor Euros - I think you'll find we paid somewhere in the region of £7-9m for him, so you may want to reconsider your post.

I thought it was £12m but the final fee was based on appearances. Clearly he never fulfilled those criteria.

I think our lawyer took his eye off the the ball when he negotiated the Sorloth deal 3/4 years ago and is probably saying....k.
I look at Liverpool dealers and Solicitors and very seldom they screw up. In fact that goes for their coaches who usually offload players who aren’t quite there. Benteke, Shako? Not knocking the London professionals but the scousers seem to have had a march on us boys at the moment.

I think you need them. Do the sums in the post I was responding to and you will see that he definitely meant 27.5 NOT £7.5

Lesson is...let’s not pick up any more s***e from Liverpool . They owe us with the few we’ve bought. But all is fair in I love war...I know.
Just don’t negotiate with Liverpool like little boys.

Yes. I assumed he misread wherever he got the £27m from. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt.

This link says Eur 14.6m for Sorloth, so just over £13m. Hopefully we can do a deal with Trabzonspor and get some more of that back. Worst case I think they will give us Eur 6.75m back. So getting on for half the money.
