I don’t think he is worth that sort of money and I’d rather we go and find our own version of him for circa £10-20m. I agree £25m is about the right number. Despite him looking superb for us early on, his performances tailed off dramatically towards the end of his stay and I’ve seen too many loose performances from him at Chelsea to change my opinion.

Yes he’s performances did tail off, and as already said, we need to move on and find our own gem, hopefully freedman has something lined up, but not much time left.

If we have Ahmada then i dont see the need for CG , we desperately now need to focus on shifting Matetta and bringing in one if not two decent forwards

As Chelsea seem to be buying even more midfielders if a late loan is possible for Conor i'd go for that. Ahmada is only 20 so we need to manage expectations. We only have 2 strikers so i'd keep Mateta for this season at least.
