Walker got himself in trouble a couple of times against Senegal with careless mistakes. He seems very error prone. If he wasn't so quick and strong there's no way he'd be at a top team in my view. I worry that Mbappe is going to exploit that by putting pressure on him, although to be fair I can't really see Trippier or TAA fairing much better either. Walker will no doubt flatten Mbappe in the first 10 minutes in an effort to keep him quiet. On the plus side I think England's midfield is superior and I think France's defence has also looked a bit suspect. Recent history has shown England to shine until they come up against a good team, but I have a feeling we're going to win this one. 3-2 England.

Morocco a lot better than I had given them credit for. A shameful exhibition of my ignorance there. Could be a shock on the cards I reckon. Still predict Spanish win 1-0 or on penalties however. I was in Fez when they qualified the place went mental I kept in touch with our tour guide who just sent me a video of the celebrations. Unfortunately I had Spain and Portugal in the sweepstake but I decided to support Morocco. Nice to see an upset.
