I do believe you but can't believe their strategy of walking a mob out of the ground and back into the ground at their own end. Police intelligence an oxymoron here.

I was in the clock end that day, and I remember about 20 or so Palace being walked down the left hand side of the pitch (as we looked at it) and all shown into our end. It was a good sight seeing that great big hole appear in the middle of the North Bank, then being filled by Palace for about 10 seconds until the Arsenal took it back !

I was split up with my mates on the way back. Remember being stuck on the tube with my brother when a bunch of gooners spotted my Palace badge. All kicked off, we then pulled into a station and I pushed my brother off, then the doors closed and I got a bit of a pasting for the next two stops before they literally threw me out Reconnected with my mates at Victoria and went looking for them. Gave them a proper dig, chasing all the way to the coach depot where it got naughty with bottles and a bunch of taxi drivers got involved. Ending up hiding from the Old Bill in the basement of a house for an hour before making my way getting back the Prince of Denmark in Sth Norwood for the pissed up and stories. Good times. Good mates. Rightly or wrongly I miss them
