If he is the best British Male Solo Artist then that says a lot about the standard of British music at the moment! Or are we still on the backlash from a couple of years ago when there weren’t enough “bruvas” nominated so the band wagon gathered pace? For those that haven’t heard him he’s nothing special just another black lad with a chip on his shoulder moaning about all the things he and his bruvas haven’t got!

I met him (and Big Shaq) at an Adidas event in DTLA last week, nice guy. I told him he should be Palace as he's from Croydon and he said, "Yeah, I get a lot of s*** about that."

Sounds like you haven't heard him either. Can't say that any of his singles releases fit that narrative. May not be your cup of tea, but the man is clearly talented
