NOt one team have bid 30 m since they set their stall out. Cant blame them for trying but theyre known for being extra penny pinching apparently. I can only hope if the day ever comes when they circle one of our players, Parish plays the biggest hard ball game of his life with them.

Hope your right because we really could do with a leader in the backline.

With the Neymar deal all prices just went up up up. No way Liverpool will drop the price now. Neymar's price started and ended at £197 million, because that was what was in his release clause. Liverpool will be forced to drop the price if they don't get any offers towards the end of the window, although they might loan him out again in the hope of getting £30m next year.

Thanks for the injury link, doesn't make good reading,£30 Million looking at those kind of injuries seems a big risk.

BBC football gossip saying Klopp is thinking of giving up on the Saints CB and relying on those he has.

Trouble is Klopp has his heart set on Van Dijk. It's not so much he wants to use Sakho but he doesn't want to bring in any other defender. Van Dijk looks nailed on to join Chelsea now, as a way of appeasing Antonio Conte and healing the rift between him and the board. I think we'll see an average defender leave Southampton to join Chelsea for an obscene amount like £60 mill just as a peace offering gesture. That will completely screw us getting Sakho. :-(

Well, I don't now see anything happening with Sakho now..today they announce (BBC) that we have a Man U loan, and he is Dutch, and a defender...say no more.. Edited by CockneyRebel (07 Aug 2017 5.08pm)

I see signing Fosu-Mensah on loan as a positive in signing Sakho! I guess it means we can only sign Sakho now permanently as we have our 2 loanees for the season but Liverpool its over to you!
