Although unlikely that he would even be selected (even on the bench), am I right that Benteke would have to have signed, been announced by Palace and registered with the FA as a Palace player before noon today so he can play against Spurs tomorrow ?

Plus if the media reports are/were to be believed (well, I have a pinch of salt ready most of the time) then the first reports we had were that we had agreed personal terms. This was before any reports that we had had a bid accepted or were close to having a bid accepted. I think/hope you are right. Although he might have just sussed out New Addington and is now trying to negotiate somewhere to stay in Selsdon.
