I like Ledley but believe we need to improve on this. A holding midfielder to me is someone who can break up play, receive the ball in tight areas and make a killer pass. Currently when we have the ball deep in our own half there's only cabaye and Mac who I'm mildly confident in retaining possession. That's why it needs to be addressed... If we want to improve that is.

Not sure about Remy, for a player of only 29 he seems to be on the decline quite quickly. The Remy of 2 years ago i would have welcomed with open arms but this could be Adebayor Mk2

I agree with this, but unfortunately Guedioura and Garvan have left the club.

We certainly need that break through player who can deliver the ball where the strikers need it or, indeed, get us out of trouble. There were signs from YC of this passing range last season, but I don't envisage him being the answer. We need midfield additions and competition for JP as someone has posted earlier in the off--season.
