Though in a way that's what his relentless 'birther' dog whistle was all about when you think about it. That brought him to political prominence. Still, he could continue to be a thorn in the side of the Republican party even if he could hold onto say 20% of his support. That in itself probably makes it more likely that he's be relentlessly swamped by legal issues though. It's in all parties interests to flush him down the sh!tter now.

Stop stoking up racial tension, trying to split the country, it"s not very presidential and Biden wont act that way, nor would any other republican either, its good for the whole world trump is gone, its all about him!In my book, Biden being elected has already paid dividends, our own boris, who was strutting his stuff breaking international law on the Irish agreement he signed in January, didn"t see Joe coming, had to back track, toe the line, eat humble pie, and go with his deal! That alone, was pure gold, and tipped off the rest of the world the CONS are not to be trusted!

Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Jan 2021 4.35pm) I have been suffering from low blood sugar all week after coming of a ten day Christmas binge a little too hard and fast. I got on the treadmill this morning and had to stop after 5 minutes as my heart rate already hit 85% and climbing.

Funny how everyone gets a lot of extra ball strength once they are out of Trump's administration. Even his former lapdog Bill Barr is sticking the knife in on this dangerous sociopath president who has shown himself to be a major threat to this country. Trump is the worst president this country will ever see.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

From the relative lack of security and police presence at such an important location and occasion you could be forgiven for thinking that they'd already been defunded. If the demographics were different Trump would've made a show of strength and ordered them to go in hard - regardless of whether they'd smashed their way into the building and terrorised politicians. A ragtag gathering of oddballs, Qanon and self declared neo-nazi types, actively trying to stop democratic process, storm the building though and he chooses his words much more carefully, still calling those who say he lost the election 'evil'. I suppose he'd have to though since he's instrumental in this even taking place to begin with. There are of course parallels to the ramping up of the lawless minority of BLM on some fronts politically (or more likely those who latch onto any vehicle to loot or destroy), but the degree to which Trump has actively had a hand in this event and the lead up has now turned off some of even his most strident political allies. Those who backed him to the hilt, even in his desire to overturn an election, left cowering and in fear for their lives. That sums the man up to a tee. This stuff is four years in the making. As just one example, his attitude towards those who plotted to kidnap and murder Michigan Gov. Whitmer was unbelievably repugnant and will have emboldened and likely be perceived as encouragement for those wishing to carry out similar acts of terror. People still hitching their wagon to this nutjob need to sort their heads out. He patently doesn't give a sh!t about any of his supporters on any meaningful level anyway. Return the favour.

Trump is the worst president this country will ever see. Politics is full of people using each other for personal gain. That is a problem for Trump now, as he already ticked off their wishlist already (Supreme Court, tax breaks for the rich and so on). They already had little need for him, and this incident has really put pressure on for them to turn on him. Trump will still have support but it will dwindle and the best way for them to ensure that it 'comes back home' is to turn people against him. To play the blame game.
