I think a 2 year deal would be better. He still has somthing left in the tank to offer. Then he can head off to the Saudi leagues

Well, we should all know in less than two weeks.

In less than 2 weeks, Wilfs contract expires. Right now on 1 July he is out of contract.
What none of us seem to know is his injury situation. We know he was injured and missed the last games. But the exact issue wasn’t clear.
If it was a recurring hamstring then I would be surprised if anyone will risk taking him on until they see him fit and playing again.
So what exactly happens on 1 July?

You answer your own question. He is out of contract. No longer a Palace player and thus not our problem.

If we support his rehabilitation only for him to sign on elsewhere when fit I would be a bit miffed!

Surely he can go private with 46m in the bank

I get your point but as a grown man of 30 years he should just front up and do an Mbappe and say what his intentions are...he should have done it ages ago. If he wants to go then fvcking go, if he wants to stay, then stay but don't take the piss with wages as that will set a precedent we can't afford.

Its all bollox really

It would all make sense if he is staying. A near deadline day announcement could be made to placate fans, especially if we decide to sell a big player.

I expect Parish will hope that most see it a being like a new signing.

Can't really see that happening. If he's staying, why leave it until deadline day or soon before to announce it?

Zaha really needs to sh*t or get off the pot, otherwise it makes planning for next season and using the window effectively unnecessarily difficult.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

He might have already agreed a deal privately.

Obvious, we can't let it get in the way of transfers, but I doubt that Parish will let that happen.

If he has any sense he will go to PSG and play in the CL.
I also think Paris is a bit better place to live than the s***holes of South Norwood and Croydon.

Or he could live in a Palace in Saudi and earn a kings ransom playing what will soon be a very high level of football

Placate?

More like a double whammy! (Unless it’s a two year deal on £50k per week)
