It says that Zaha complained to the police who took it seriously investigated and found the perpetrator and he was punished. You are never going to stop individuals behaving badly if we could there would be no burglars or shoplifters. What matters is what you do about it. Football can actually be proud, especially with the Kick It Out campaign, that you don't hear crowds making racist chants and the odd exceptions are dealt with by the clubs and the police and highlighted by the media. When I contracted to the NHS we always found it funny how rude west indian nurses were about Africans, Ghanaians, etc.
