Why would anyone want the stress of managing a Palace team when you get a settlement like that . He prob has another 10 plus million in the bank already. Id be laughing all the way to the Bahamas with my big suitcase full of money. Only in football can someone get paid that much for failing .

I personally would love to see Rodgers at Palace. Young but plenty of experience. I just think it could really be a good match. I see a bit of what we had under Steve Coppell with him. He was paid 10 million a year at Leicester though so not sure he’s within our budget.
