Whoever is considered for the job the board will say during the interview process that they fully believe we have enough points on the board so far this season, a squad with enough quality players available & enough winnable games left to comfortably avoid relegation - but any contract that we offer you will have a clause in it that says - subject to renewal at the end of the current season.

Why would any manager already in employment want to come here with its joke of a chairman? Uproot, move house, school for the kids?
Or choose to travel in a couple of hundred miles each day?
The money? The lure of Championship football?
It surely must be someone out of work desperate enough to take the role, and is ready to start immediately, whatever happens. Unless the board knows something about funding that we don't I predict relegation, if not this season then next.

I have been in contact with 3 season-ticket holders and they have no intentions of taking the seats if Mr Hodgson is appointed manager.

Well if we weren't going down before today the Arsenal result confirms it for me,l cannot believe we have got ourselves in this position ,rudderless and dispirited doesn't matter how you try and cover it up,God knows who would want to come here as manager,l really cannot see anyone of quality wanting to work for Parish at the moment, which means regurgitate old faces,6 months ago we where looking at a great new world, now it's pretty dismal, and the blame lies truly with a board who ignored investment and thought they could wing another year,Championship here we come,it is so dissapointment!!!

Doesnt really make that much difference, who the next manager is. The players are still the same and they have been allowed to get away without being fit enough for the Premier league. How many times in the last few months have we been second to the ball in the second half in games and give away late goals.
A new fitness coach is needed.

I think Will Still would take the job. He’s an absolute sensation and only 30. He’s something very special who can see things others can’t. Unfortunately he’ll probably land up at a West Ham if we don’t move fast. Unfortunately we’ll probably land up with Hodgson or Steve Bruce.

We will end up with someone who is out of work and can start straight away, someone who has not managed for a couple of years but misses the game and wants to come back and take on a challenge.

It really couldn’t be much worse than the barely watchable football we've experienced since Christmas. I don't think Roy will have a second coming but then I don't know who else would step in to do the job at very short notice? We're going to be scrapping against our relegation rivals so it could be a very interesting race to the finish. However, I'm not yet convinced this team will step up to save the day.

And I wouldn't blame them one bit.
