Benteke is 'worth' 50% of our entire 24 player squad Add up the transfer fees of the other 24 in the squad and its something like 60m crazy days Parrot PS yes I know it will be a third smart arse, but 50% is more impressive!

I recon we've still got the best part of £30M from player sales to spend.. Really hope we do!! I feel greedy but I want Remy too.

I feel greedy but I want Remy too. Me too, but more to the point, I think Pardew and SP do too. Allowing for injuries, form and pattern of play etc, I think a decent PL team needs 3 good PL level strikers, and in Benteke, Remy and Wickham, that's what we would have.Yippee!

From the huge clear out we've had I'm pretty sure more faces will be coming in. Didn't Pardew say we was looking at 2 and if anyone left they'd be replaced? I think he alluded to something along those lines. Anyway I truly believe we'll end up with at least seven new signings. (Including the 3 we've signed) Parsh knows the squad needs an overhaul and that's what's happening. COYE

Their is different types of insurance each club has one and a lot of the quality players will have personal ones. If you go on loan you are covered by both clubs but there is terms that come into place the medical is for Palace side of the insurance. In other sports the players are not allowed to do anyother type of phyical activities because of the insurance cover this is why it was difficult to get f1 drivers on to shows like Top Gear due to insurance issues. Sports is very complex the average fan justs see the very basic stuff of what goes on even transfers there is a lot to them not just simple heres the offer do you accept or not and so on (this is why I keep saying we need to bring a experienced guy in) Whilst sure things have changed considerably in the last thirty years back in the 1980's I managed the football account for the then insurance brokers, S W Taylor & Co. At that time the club who owned the players registration would maintain coverage on him at all times except when the player was away on international duty and covered by his country's insurance. If the country did not have insurance large enough for the player or, in some cases, any then the club could pay extra to have his period of international duty covered under their own policy. It was fairly easy in those days as rarely were there any players from outside UK and Ireland. I would have thought for a season long loan the owning club would maintain the insurance but the club who loans the player would probably be required to pay the premium as part of the loan deal. The owning club, after all, are the ones with the insurable interest.

We might get one more striker, but that's about it.
