We're £9m down on the dealings during this window I think. So most of the tv money hasn't been touched yet. Amazing considering the transformation of the squad (assuming the Benteke deal goes through)

Tomkins £10m, Townsend £13m, Mandanda £2m Total: £25m
Mcarthy £4m, Jedi £4m, Gayle £10m, Bolasie £25m Total: £43m
So far (if reports are to be believed) We are £18m in profit before we've even touched any TV money. Then there is the wages that we have wiped out from these players leaving along with Chamakh, Adebayor, Marriapha being released.
We are more than capable financially of bringing in another 2 £20m players even after Benteke.

I like Remy but..at the end of the day I think this will be down to him and what he wants to do with his career. He is at risk of turning into an irrelevance. He scored 3 goals last season and he is playing less first team football now year on year. If Chelsea are so keen to keep him why don't they play him?
Or maybe he is just happy to collect his £75k a week until 2018 when his contract runs out and then retire, or go and play for someone like Nice or Marseille again. If he wanted first team football that badly he would have his agent on the phone looking for such a move. Maybe he cant be bothered.

And paying off Pardew. We all know Mourinho really wanted to manage the Palace and he'll probably drop Manure immediately he knows there's an opening at Selhurst Park.

I understood Mandanda was on a free, I took the max for Bolasie after add-owns (£28m) and also for Benteke (£32m) assuming the deal goes through. Total outlay: £55m. Total income: £46m. As I suggested £9m down.
Wages are another issue. It seems more than likely that the wages of the incoming players will exceed the wages of those who've left.
I agree that there's plenty of tv money left over. Enough for 1 or 2 quality signings.

Mandanda was a fee but a small one (paying off his loyalty year in his contract ). We have to bring players in who are better which so far we have. The 2 major areas after strikers, is to sign someone who creates and a winger.

As someone else said with Mandanda We had to buy out a contract clause £2 million.

Bolasie was £25 million without addons - Approx £4 million to Bristol City. Most clubs also Pay fee over a period possibly length of contract.

Similarly with Benteke We are probably not paying all the fee up front.

My guess is that we have about £20- £25 million to spend. I hope We bring in an Attacking Midfield Player, A winger like Burke and a utility defender.

It would be nice to get another striker a Gayle type but unless we sell one I can't see how

The Remy loan would cost about £3m plus wages (if Chelski) would agree loan rather than sale
